East Renfrewshire Climate Action Hub public engagement

Posted on 10 March 2025

On 23 February, the Climate Ready Clyde secretariat joined the East Renfrewshire Climate Action Hub “find out more” public engagement event at Rouken Glen Park Pavilion. It was a wet and windy day with extensive flooding in the park, and these impacts made climate concerns front and centre of the event.

We spoke to Propagate and the Black Door Shop to find out more about their projects and listened to some young people who were drawing their ideas on the Hub’s new climate action cloth mural. We also handed out some Community Climate Adaptation Routemaps for people to look at and discuss together.

The Hub is part of the national network of Climate Hubs funded by Scottish Government and was set up to bring together people, community groups, and organisations across the area to support joined up, community-led climate action.
