About CRC
Climate Ready Clyde is a cross-sector initiative funded by 12 member organisations and supported by the Scottish Government to create a shared vision, strategy and action plan for an adapting Glasgow City Region.
1.8 million people live, work and play in the Glasgow City Region. A large number of businesses and organisations are based here. Increasingly these are impacted by the effects of climate change, both directly in the Glasgow City Region, and from changes happening around the world.
Through our work we are creating the conditions for a regional transformation, building our collective evidence base and capacity, and have produced Glasgow City Region’s Adaptation Strategy and Action Plan to make it happen.
In May 2022 we adopted a new governance structure to take transformative climate adaptation action in the region action to the next level. This collaborative structure includes an Action Group and a Technical Secretariat
We are actively seeking to grow our membership to increase diversity and representation across all sectors, including business and civil society. Contact us to find out how you can get involved.
