Climate Ready Clyde developed Glasgow City Region’s first Adaptation Strategy and Action Plan, launched in June 2021 ahead of COP26 in Glasgow.
The Strategy set out how the City Region’s economy, society and environment could prepare for, and continue to flourish in, the face of climate impacts.
It was supported by an Action Plan setting out the actions to be taken across the City Region between 2020 and 2025.
In 2023–24, we undertook an Interim Assessment of Progress. The findings helped shape our priorities through to 2025 and continue to inform our work today.
We continue to work with partners across Glasgow City Region to build on this progress, strengthen regional collaboration and shape the next phase of climate adaptation.
