Glasgow Climate Action Hub Network meeting

Posted on 14 October 2025

Verture was invited to the September Glasgow Climate Action Hub network meeting to facilitate a workshop on the Community Climate Adaptation Routemap.

There were a range of groups present, from community transport and food charities and organisations providing services to people of different ages with various needs. Together we began by exploring climate impacts in Glasgow, as well as the benefits of local climate adaptation action and how these actions could also address other socioeconomic issues.

The workshop involved participants at each table picking one of the Routemap action themes, discussing what was already happening in their areas on this theme and exploring new things they could do. At the end of the workshop all the tables fed their ideas back to each other, with the aim of inspiring more collaboration in the city.

We also had the chance to explore the Hub’s new theory of change and how we could all play a role in shaping the future direction of the Glasgow Climate Action Hub. As lunch was served in the canteen next door we continued to chat and keep the inspiration flowing!
