Climate Ready Clyde secretariat, Verture, was delighted to be invited to speak at the launch event for the Renfrewshire Climate Action Network at Paisley Town Hall on the 24 September, facilitated by Local Energy Action Plan who host the Renfrewshire Climate Hub.
We spoke about the intersections of social and climate vulnerability and how we can adapt places and systems to support communities who need it most. We also listened to great talks from other local organisations and spent time networking with 70 participants from Renfrewshire’s public and third sector.
The Hub is part of the national network of Climate Hubs funded by Scottish Government and supports the people of Renfrewshire to flourish through climate action, creating tangible outcomes for people and communities that enhance wellbeing.
